Face of Change consists of lifelong friends Corne Alant (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Marius van Wyk (Bass, Vocals), Okkie Momberg (Lead Guitar) and Gideon Raath (Drums). Face of Change has a unique style of music that can best be described as Alternative Rock. The lyrics are written by Corne, Marius and Okkie, about personal experiences & situations in life to which nearly all people can easily relate. The instruments in each song are added individually, each member brings his own musical influence forward to create an original blend of rock music. They have a very powerful and energetic stage presence which guarantees to attract attention.
In June 2008 their first music video, of their hit 'Vra Jou', premiered on MK (A South African Music Television Channel). The video was well received by the viewing public and went directly on high rotation.
Face of Change has performed all over South Africa and will be touring at the end of 2010 to promote their new debut album.
The band has several songs currently playlisted on local radio stations in South Africa and their hit song 'Reversal' has made the top 20 chart on various FM stations.
Their 2nd music video for the song 'Mother's Child' premiered on MK on 10 June 2009.
The band's debut album will be available in stores September 2010.
